7/9/07 Just a quick note in the middle of a busy summer. It was great having everyone in for the wedding and those that couldn't make it were sorely missed. I'm posting a few photos online today, much more to come.

2/4/07 Happy new year from the Doty's. The holiday season was a little empty this year with the loss of Joy & Sam, but we banded together as family and celebrated the many blessings God had for us last year. Ashley & I just came back from our London trip and we've posted photos. We're looking forward to a wonderful 2007 and it's great to have you all be able to be apart of our lives through dotyonline.com.

12/4/06 Happy Holidays from the Doty's! It was a wonderful Thanksgiving and were looking forward to our second Christmas in our new home. Listen to me, still calling it our "New Home". No, the blessing hasn't worn off yet and I'm not expecting it to for a long time. We finished the library last month and you can see pictures on the 2316 Chapparal 06 page. Ashley gets her AA this month and her & I will celebrate it in London in January. Of course we'll post pix. See ya soon.

8/4/06 A quick mid summers update. Well we survived the hottest summer in Modesto in my lifetime, heck anyone's lifetime. One Saturday in July I personally mixed 13 bands in 13 hours in 113 degree heat with no brakes. Crazy. Yes, allot of people died. We had 15 deaths in Stanislaus county alone with about 150 statewide. We had 2 crewmembers go off in ambulances that day. They are fine.

We are completing the library this month and Lana is going to be visiting on the 9th. The media room is finished as well as the outside, photos to come.

2/3/06 Well some major updates to the website today before we leave for vacation. I'm sure we'll have another huge update when we get back with all the vacation photos! The big news, the office is finished! Very happy to have one of the major projects done! Still moving into it mind you, but it's up and functioning! Next project will be the Library and Media Room at the same time. We'll start those when we return.

An update on Joy, she had dialysis again today. Still not doing well really, she dominates our prayers and we'll keep you updated. Same to be said regarding Sam. Went and saw his last weekend. Kenny & Nicole were there as well. Be sure to stop by our galleries to see everything happening instead of just reading about it.

1/26/06 Happy new year. All is well in Modesto as we finish up year end business with the taxes, etc. Everything closed well with the old house and we are in the process of using funds to further finish the new house. This weekend the office gets finished and around the end of February we will be working on the media room. March should see the library go in and we may be doing the bedroom in April if funds allow. if we run short, we'll push off until summer. The important thing to us is to do it right. We will be vacationing this year in the Caribbean on the Mayan Riviera in the first week of February. Looking forward to sharing a week away from the business with Matt & Kim. Will post pictures. Ashley is back in school and is becoming quite an artist.

12/8/05 Today we said goodbye to the old house. Leslie drove up in a diesel today to pick up the last of everything in the garage. Tomorrow we sign the papers. Hmmm. The end of an era.

11/30/05 Time for an update. Well in under two months we sold the house. Prayerfully everything will go well through escrow and we'll have everything wrapped up by the end of the year. There's enough money in the sale to pay off everything on the old house including the second we took out to buy the new house, and finish everything we want to do in the new house. God is good!

10/17/05 Well we finally have the old house on the market as of last week. You would not recognize it. I'll try to get some photos up in the future. Other news, Ashley has a new job with Clinique Make Up. The new house is great, we got our new couches last week and it finally feels like our home.

6/24/05 We closed today. The house is ours. Our move in date is July 16th. Praise God!

6/15/05 Tomorrow morning we sign the final papers on our new home. Escrow could close in 10 days. Hope to be moving in first week of July. We'll see, and we'll keep all up to date.

6/6/05 Well the website went live yesterday, such as it is. My goal for the site is to have a corner of the web to teach my girls web design, and have a place to share family photos, etc. Guess the biggest news right now is the new house. I'll try to get some inside shots posted soon.
